(Dan Tri) – The expected price of Volkswagen Viloran is not too different from Kia Carnival but is still relatively high, because the German car company positions the brand at a `luxury level`.

Recently, some sales consultants quoted the expected price of Volkswagen Viloran, starting from 1,989 billion VND for the standard version and up to 2,189 billion VND for the highest variant.

This information is relatively consistent with the price range of 1.9-2.1 billion VND that a representative of the German car company shared with Dan Tri reporter.

In China, Viloran’s price ranges from 286,800-316,800 yuan (converted 982-1,084 billion VND).

When launched for sale in Vietnam, Hyundai Custin and Kia Carnival can be considered rivals of Volkswagen Viloran, although the MPV model from Germany is slightly larger in size than the two competitors from Korea.

The vehicle’s equipment in Vietnam has not been revealed.

Viloran’s cabin has a quite simple design.

When returning to Vietnam, Volkswagen Viloran will only have the option of a gasoline engine, turbocharged, 2.0L capacity, with power adjusted differently depending on the version.

The standard variant has a maximum capacity of 174 horsepower and maximum torque of 320Nm;

Similar to competitors, Volkswagen Viloran has an active safety system, including features such as: adaptive cruise control, driving assistance in traffic jams, automatic braking system, lane keeping and parking warnings.

With Chinese origin, Volkswagen Viloran will need time to convince Vietnamese customers, even though the brand factor has been guaranteed.

In return, Volkswagen Viloran can become a suitable choice for users who do not have the financial means to go to Mercedes-Benz V-Class (from VND 3,039 billion), but still want a product from the German brand.
