CR-V 2024 has been launched in Vietnam for more than 2 weeks, but the selling price is still a hot topic, creating a lot of controversy in the user community.

Consulting a showroom in Hanoi, a sales consultant said that pure gasoline versions of the Honda CR-V 2024 are being given an accessory package worth 30-40 million VND instead of being `sold vegetarian` like when it was first released.

As for the hybrid variant (e:HEV), customers still have to purchase the accessory package if they want to receive the car early;

Meanwhile, at a dealership in the Southern region, the sales consultant confirmed that the Honda CR-V e:HEV 2024 is sold at the listed price (1,259 billion VND) and the car is available for immediate delivery.

Faced with this information, the reaction of most users is still not too positive, because the selling price of Honda CR-V 2024 is still high, not as attractive as other models in the same C-segment crossover segment such as Mazda CX-5 (749

Meanwhile, dealers of older generation Honda CR-V 2023s still have big discounts.

In addition, these cars also receive a 50% reduction in registration fees according to the State’s `domestic car` support policy, helping buyers save an additional 60 million VND.

In the new generation, the Honda CR-V 2024 is highlighted by a hybrid engine configuration and some versions are equipped with a full-time 4-wheel drive system.

However, with a listed price of 1,109-1.31 billion VND, the car has difficulty competing with rivals.

Before being upgraded, Honda CR-V often needed promotional programs worth up to hundreds of millions of dong at dealerships to attract users’ attention.

From the beginning of the year to the end of September, Honda CR-V sold 3,733 cars, still with a large gap with the leading product in the segment, Mazda CX-5 (10,836 units).
