Man City dropped victory at RB Leipzig
(Dan Tri) – As a guest at RB Leipzig in the first leg of the 1/8 round of the Champions League, Man City took the lead in the middle of the first half, but the home team equalized in the middle of the second half to win a draw.
Man City is no stranger to RB Leipzig having faced the German team in the Champions League group stage last season.
Suddenly in the 27th minute, the home players missed a pass to help Man City win the ball in the opponent’s half. Grealish passed the ball past RB Leipzig’s defense, allowing Mahrez to quickly launch a low shot from the top of the penalty area.

The opening goal helped Man City’s spirit rise, the away team continued to press the home team with continuous attacks.
RB Leipzig’s attack was weak in the first half, they only had one shot in the first 45 minutes.
In the 53rd minute, Henrichs warned Ederson with a header from the center of the penalty area that went over the bar.

In the 69th minute, Szoboszlai launched a powerful shot from the left side. The ball went towards the top left corner of the goal. Ederson was alert to push the ball out, saving Man City.
Conceding a goal, Man City abandoned the counter-attacking defensive style.
The pressure on Man City for the rest of the match was not great.
