Despite having to play away from home, with the defending champion’s class, Man City quickly overwhelmed Burnley after the opening whistle.

Having scored two goals after the first half, Man City played quite comfortably in the second half, victory was firmly in the hands of the away team.

The pressure Burnley created was not great enough, so the home team did not have real opportunities in front of Ederson’s goal.

Burnley’s efforts were nothing, Vincent Kompany’s team ended the match with only 10 people because Anass Zaroury received a red card in the 4th minute of injury time after the referee used VAR to see the player’s foul.

With three points from the early match, Man City returned to their familiar top spot, while Burnley dropped to the bottom of the table.
