Russia arrested 3 more suspects in the Moscow terrorist attack

(Dan Tri) – One of these three new suspects is believed to be the focal point for recruiting gunmen in the Crocus City theater terrorist attack on the outskirts of Moscow, Russia on March 22.

Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) said on April 4 that it had arrested three new suspects related to the Crocus City theater terrorist attack on the outskirts of Moscow.

All three suspects are of Central Asian origin, of which two suspects are foreigners, the remaining suspect has Russian nationality.

On the evening of March 22, an armed group opened fire inside the Crocus City theater hall on the outskirts of Moscow, then set fire to the building.

Russia has arrested 11 suspects, including 4 main suspects accused of directly participating in the theater attack.

Moscow suspected Ukraine and the West were involved in the attack, but Kiev denied it.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the main purpose of the masterminds of the Crocus City massacre was to destroy Russia’s national unity.

Previously, he also emphasized that the plotters were using terrorist attacks as `a weapon against Russia` and warned that it was a `double-edged sword`.
