Special Ninja – Tokubetsu Jonin is a rank between Chuunin and Jonin, referring to ninjas who have not undergone professional training like Jonin, but have Jonin-class abilities in a certain field (eg Ebisu).

There are some Naruto era Tokubetsu Jonins that we still encounter in the Boruto era.

Here are 5 Tokubetsu Jonin in the Naruto era who `disappeared` in Boruto:

1. Genma Shiranui

This handsome Tokubetsu Jonin stood out in the Chunin Exams.

Genma remained alive until the end of the 4th great ninja war.

2. Ebisu

Ebisu is clearly one of the most memorable Tokubetsu Jonins in the Naruto series.

Ebisu was also present at Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga’s wedding.

3. Tokuma Hyuga

This Tokubetsu Jonin attracted attention because he was from the famous Hyuga clan.

Now, Naruto Uzumaki is married to Hinata and has two children, Boruto and Himawari, so it would be interesting to see if the Seventh Hokage’s family is shown interacting with characters from the Hyuga family like Tokuma.

4. Tsume Inuzuka

Tsume Inuzuka was first seen when Orochimaru attacked Konoha during the chunin exams.

Unfortunately, Tsume has not been seen in the Boruto era.

5. Aoba Yamashiro

Aoba Yamashiro is famous as a mind reader.
